Matt Sponheimer's Class Stuff

Welcome to Class Stuff. You will find assorted posts and readings that are at least tangentially related to my classes on this page. This is meant to be a student resource, albeit a loosely organized and broad one. For those who are interested in learning a bit about my work there are links to some of my publications and my CV on the sidebar.

ANTH 5790 Monday the 13th

A few words about preparation for class Monday. Please hand in your proposals and two-page critical reviews at the beginning of class. The critical review can be done using any font size or line spacing that you feel is appropriate. I tend to think 11 point type with 1.5 line spacing is good for such things, but have no strong feelings on the matter. Also, everyone should have several questions prepared for Professor Bamforth. Most should stem from the readings, but some can touch on almost anything related to career development and/or anthropology. If you have some free time you can read a 2009 news story about his work with an ancient Clovis-era tool cache.
